Search engine logs are an amazing and scary thing. Nary a day goes by that somebody doesn't hit my "Greatest Songs Ever (At Least Today)" category page, after doing an online search for "greatest song ever". Do they think I might reveal the secret of what the G.S.E. actually is? So they can stop being bothered by listening and forming their own opinion?
Just today Google sent somebody searching for "exciting news" to my "Exciting News for Geezers" page. I'm sorry but who searches for "exciting news" in a search engine? And what does it say about the state of humanity that Google apparently thinks that my post about the Gang of Four reunion tour is the third-most exciting piece of news in the world today? Yes, it's exciting, to about 1,224 aging musos, but come on...
